Edit
  TEAM RECORD REMARKS NEXT SERIES
, Last Week: 1 32-6 (12-3) Florida rolls yet again, sweeping Missouri. It was the Gator's second sweep of the season. Florida has won all five SEC series. They will lose no more than 3 or 4 more conference games. Road series at Kentucky.
, Last Week: 2 27-10 (10-5) The Hogs dropped the first game to the Hogs but rebounded to win the next two and take the series. Arkansas' only series loss was at Florida (2-1). The Hogs will be tested in the 2nd half of the league season with series at Ole Miss, LSU and Georgia. Road series at Ole Miss.
, Last Week: 4 22-14 (9-6) Vandy, like Arkansas, rebounded from a game 1 loss only to win the next two over No. 4 Ole Miss. The Commodores have won four of their first five series including three against teams that are currently ranked. Road series at Missouri.
, Last Week: 3 29-8 (8-7) Ole Miss pounded Vandy 11-3 in game one before losing two 8-7 contests to the 'Dores. Those games were so close it makes you wonder how Ole Miss would have fared in Oxford. This puts them about even with VU in the power poll. Home series versus Georgia.
, Last Week: 6 24-13 (9-6) LSU's big ninth inning rally at Tennessee in Sunday's game gave the Tigers a sweep over the Vols. LSU gets to the halfway mark of the conference slate with nine wins but plays three of its last series on the road. Road series at South Carolina.
, Last Week: 5 25-11 (9-6) Georgia lost its second straight series with a 2-1 verdict against UK. In the second half of the SEC slate the Dogs play 3 of the top 5 teams in the league. Road series at Ole Miss.
, Last Week: 8 27-9 (8-7) A&M is 5-1 combined in its last two series. The Aggies hit the road for the next two series against Tennessee and MSU respectively, so it's very possible they could continue their winning ways. They need to, because they get Florida and Arkansas down the road. Road series at Tennessee.
, Last Week: 9 25-11 (7-8) Kentucky has also won two straight series and is starting to look more like the ranked team they are. This weekend they have a chance to make a splash when they host the No. 1 Gators. Home series versus Florida.
, Last Week: 8 24-12 (6-9) Missouri had started its SEC season with good success and sat at .500 in the league prior to the 3-game tilt at Florida. Suddenly they are 3 games under .500. Mizzou's toughest series are behind them though, so they have a shot to get back to .500. Home series versus Vanderbilt.
, Last Week: 14 25-12 (6-9) Auburn is another team that hasn't lived up to expectations so far. They did win a series over MSU over the weekend; that's a start. The 2nd half the Tiger's SEC slate is scary, at Bama then at Florida, Vandy, at Ole Miss and LSU. Road series at Alabama.
, Last Week: 13 20-16 (6-9) USC lost 2 of 3 at Arkansas over the weekend. No shame in that. They get a beatable LSU team in Columbia this week. Might be able to steal a couple from the Tigers. Home series versus LSU.
, Last Week: 10 21-17 (5-10) Tennessee was swept at LSU. They let a big lead disappear in the 9th inning of Sunday's game to complete being swept. They host a surging Texas A&M team this weekend. Home series versus Texas A&M.
, Last Week: 11 21-16 (5-10) Getting swept is not good for a team's chances of finishing well in the SEC. Bama has now been swept twice this season. A 3-2 loss in game three against A&M was a big disappointment for the Tide. They host rival Auburn this weekend and have a good chance to make up some ground. Home series versus Auburn.
, Last Week: 12 19-18 (5-10) The Bulldogs lost a 2-1 series at Auburn. They host Arkansas this weekend and need to avoid getting swept. Home series versus Arkansas.
